Steve Doumar first started his entrepreneurial journey in Fort Lauderdale, FL as the founder of the bridal magazine called Premier Bride. The business expanded and has been franchised to up to 70 different locations all around the US. In 2000, Steve sold his company and partook in a new endeavor at the birth of LiveOps. LiveOps pioneered the gig economy and is noted for establishing an ecosystem that functions properly for independent contractors.

Steve is a significant shareholder in LiveOps and they have 25,000 operators with such clients as US Government with the SBA loans, Amazon, Stand Up For Cancer, Macy’s, Humana and many others. Through this invention, many individuals are able to work and support their families while remaining flexible.

In 2013, Steve left LiveOps for new endeavors in the Telephony space, such as Expert Planet and Star Mobile, until he founded TapText in 2019. After the addition of a number of exciting data enrichment features, TapText has become "Whisp - Opt In Simplified."
